Fulton Jazz Festival was born out of Fulton's RiverFest and Chocolate Fest in the early 1980's
Jazz Fest found its rebirth in 2009 when a group of Fulton Businesses and the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce brought the event back to the community in its current location.
In 2015, a private group of Fulton citizens and business people began the process of organizing the festival under its own auspices.
In late 2016, Fulton Jazz Festival, Inc was formally formed and is recognized by the State of New York and the Internal Revenue Service as a Domestic Not-For-Profit Organization.
